Currently a Schwarzman Scholar pursuing a Master’s degree in Management Sciences in Global Affairs, Mohammad Ozair Alamyar is dedicated to empowering youth and driving positive change with a specific focus on most vulnerable. As the co-founder and social secretary of Afghan Youth Voice Organization, one of the few nonprofit organizations based in Kabul advocating for youth empowerment and employment, Ozair led initiatives aimed at amplifying youth voices and fostering meaningful societal impact. Passionate about bridging the gap between education (in particular women education) and employment, he is the International Community Lead volunteer at FalakNaz AYOUB Human Resources and Educational Consulting Services, where he is building International Strategic Partnerships. With his professional background in development research and advocacy, coupled with academic credentials in Political Science, International Relations, Global Affairs and Management, Ozair aspires to help in empowerment of his generation through global political engagement.

Implemented cluster sampling technique to survey 1000 street vendors across Kabul, utilizing a structured questionnaire to gather data on spending patterns and cigarette consumption habits. Analyzed survey data to identify a significant correlation between cigarette consumption and socioeconomic factors. Leveraged statistical analysis to recommend a price increase on cigarettes as a means to deter consumption, supported by evidence of similar successful interventions in other contexts. Collaborated with civil society organizations to advocate for the proposed policy changes. Presented findings at stakeholder meetings and engaged in persuasive communication to emphasize the potential public health benefits of the policy.
AFGHAN YOUTH VOICE ORGANIZATION

Developed and implemented a detailed project plan for youth empowerment, recruited and trained 100+ high school graduate volunteers, facilitated their placement in external organizations. Interviewed 500+ Afghan Youth to elicit their demands and expectation out of Afghan Peace Process. Advocated for War Victims’ role in Afghan Peace Process at Afghanistan’s Independent Human Rights Commission. Assembled Afghan youth for group discussions and volunteer activities on monthly basis. Together with 6 other members represented the organization at the grand national assembly for selection of Afghanistan’s Supreme Youth Council.
