Electrical Engineering at Middle East Technical University
Jordan
Hi, I'm Shamel Yazaw!
Internship at Jordan Poultry Processing and Marketing Company Limited
I am a recent electrical and electronics engineer graduate from Middle East Technical University, currently taking training courses in PLC programming because of my interest in the industrial automation field. My interest in PLC came from where I worked as an intern for Jordan Poultry Processing & Marketing Company. I worked in the electrical maintenance department, in that company I learned about the Scada system, PLC and smart relays, which is where my interest for PLC came from. My second internship was at Jordan Media City (JMC) where I worked in the electrical maintenance department, and was responsible for electrical measurement and data collection, test and check for faulty electrical devices and motors, at JMC I learned about important electrical devices such as ATS, UPS, High voltage transformer, and heating/cooling systems. I love learning about electrical related software programs, I taught my self various electrical related software throughout my study time, I also love to modify electrical consoles, people often came to me when they wanted their PSP or Nintendo console to be modified. Electrical engineering is a very broad specialty and as a new graduate I am open for all opportunities and very excited to experience new possibilities.

Projects
Car suspension feedback
•https://drive.google.com/file/d/18jfD5zPbRJoFhfdPXXhKVmwwedGiZWIi/view?usp=sharingUniversity project
A car suspension system is designed on MatLab Simulink, the goal of the system is to maintain and increase the speed when needed.
Microwaves multi section transformer
•https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N_et5FbsGxUDR5hOyrbTT6P-asZThUxv/view?usp=sharingUniversity project
A three-section transformer, which offers a band of frequency that it can work at, instead of only one working frequency value in the case of single section transformer, the method of design is following the Chebyshev transformer design.
The project was about a smart cooling system for laptops, the cooling solution has 5 different fans with temperature sensors that are programmed via Arduino to operate when the temperature rises above 40 degrees, also the cooling solution offers internet connection to the temperature sensors and fans speed, so it can be monitored from a distance.
4bit-calculator design, simulation and implementation
•https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gpUV1oBu2VjhSXul27AoewbxyUcEq4tv/view?usp=sharingUniversity project
A 4-bit calculator design, simulation and implementation using VHDL, Intel Quartus, and Proteus Design Suite, the calculator have eight basic micro-operations.
