Hussein AL-NATSHEH

Hussein is the Chief Technology Officer of Unstructured Data Science (Gen AI) at Beyond Limits, Inc. since early 2021. Beyond Limits is a pioneering Hybrid AI company with a unique heritage from the US space program by Caltech and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). He is a recognized AI leader in EMEA, being a member of several program committees in NLP and a speaker at many AI events there. At Beyond Limits, he also led the Center of Excellence for Unstructured Data, where Hussein has been extending the company’s technology and product portfolio to include state-of-the-art language and vision AI capabilities using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM). For example, Hussein recently launched the first-of-its-kind smart mobility solutions for border control powered by machine vision. I also launched the enterprise semantic search and conversational AI question-answering platform called "Beyond Search." Additionally, he led the development of a no-code platform for material discovery and chemical blending optimization. After the successful acquisition of his AI startup by Mawdoo3 in 2016, Hussein previously held the esteemed position of Chief AI Officer at Mawdoo3 Limited, where he played a pivotal role in creating the best Arabic NLP/NLU toolkit and introducing Salma.ai, a subsidiary of Mawdoo3, as a cutting-edge Arabic-speaking digital assistant. Furthermore, I co-founded Qalam.ai, another subsidiary, as an innovative platform catering to the specific language needs of Arabic users, similar to Grammarly. With a Ph.D. degree in data science from the University of Lyon, France, in addition to two European Master's degrees in the same field and a Master’s degree in computer engineering from Jordan, Hussein completed a Master’s thesis in machine learning at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland.
