Constructed and designed a research program to assess how herbivorous fishes contribute to coral reef health. Managed multiple, concurrent research projects as a part of a comprehensive program to understand these dynamics using different, complementary methods, including field observations, dietary and isotope analyses. Constructed, processed, and analyzed big datasets with various statistical methods to quantify the role these fishes play in keeping coral reefs healthy. Collaborated regularly with diverse teams on complementary research projects and community outreach events. Published 7 scientific papers (3 more pending) and presented results of my findings at 9 different international conferences.
