Joan is an advocate of young people’s education ensuring access and realization of the right to education and its promotion - she aspires to become a global south advocate for the right to education as she believes she is where she is today because quality education shaped her. She is a multi-talented and ambitious lady keen on the actualization of gender equality, digital skills attainment for young people having trained over 250 young persons living with disability with digital and communication skills, with 6 years of experience in meaningful programming for young women and youth engagement and learning in institutions of learning. Joan has helped in developing, reviewing, and sharing policies, strategies, and guidelines for the right to an inclusive education and cares deeply about young people’s complete development as they later become catalysts of empowerment in communities.
