Sharon Jebet

Sharon Jebet is a registered Clinical Nutritionist with the Kenya Nutritionists and Dietitians Institute (KNDI), currently serving as Executive Assistant to the Ambassador and Chief of Staff at the Embassy of Cuba in Kenya. In this role, she manages high-level schedules, coordinates diplomatic events, and ensures compliance with consular policies, while continuing to advance her expertise in nutrition through a Master of Science in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Nairobi. Sharon’s background includes hands-on clinical practice at Kenyatta National Hospital, where she conducted nutrition assessments, developed therapeutic diet plans, and facilitated patient-centered advocacy, as well as policy-level work at the Ministry of Health, contributing to national nutrition guidelines and strategies. By combining her current diplomatic and administrative responsibilities with her academic and professional nutrition journey, Sharon brings a unique blend of organizational leadership and evidence-based nutrition expertise, positioning her to excel in both local and global health initiatives.
