I completed eight hands-on data science projects through the WorldQuant University Applied Data Science Lab, applying real-world analytics and machine learning techniques. I analyzed housing data in Mexico to find whether size or location most affects price and built a linear regression model to predict apartment prices in Buenos Aires. I modeled air pollution in Nairobi using time-series forecasting and predicted building damage from the 2015 Nepal earthquake using classification models. I developed a bankruptcy prediction model for Polish companies, clustered U.S. households using k-means for customer segmentation, and conducted an A/B test to measure the impact of email reminders on quiz completion rates. Finally, I forecasted stock market volatility in India using GARCH models, integrating APIs and SQL databases for data management and model deployment.
