Conducted risk assessments for multiple CO2 systems, including the study of system and environment parameters, calculation of leaked CO2 release rate and concentration development over time, evacuation times, risk mitigation, and limitation measures
Implemented CO2 2-Phase Mass Flow models to analyze the release of CO2 in case of leakages
Studied the evacuation routes at CMS experimental cavern and proposed enhancements to improve safety
Followed up on the commissioning actions of the upgraded high expansion foam system designed to flood the CMS cavern with expansive foam in case of major fire
