Awarded the Braid Arts and Culture Fund 2025 to co-lead an interdisciplinary research project investigating disappearing cultures in Uganda and Kenya through an artistic lens.
Employs oral storytelling traditions of Luganda and Luo cultures to examine how folklore, rituals, and communal childhood practices are fading from collective memory.
Integrates artistic methods (poetry, dance) with ethnographic inquiry to explore the intersections of identity, belonging, and indigenous knowledge systems.
