Assisted in Dr. Ahmed Moustfa's research project on neuropsychiatric microbiome by performing DNA extraction for samples and drafting the pipeline for the genomic analysis.

Participated in a training program focused on the biotechnology industry. Gained in-depth knowledge of different genome sequencing technologies including third-generation sequencing.

Assisted in an undergraduate research project led by Dr. Terrie Rife, focusing on the role of Tau protein in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's. Conducted laboratory procedures, including mammalian cell splitting and counting, maxi-prep DNA purification, and transfection.

Assisted in selecting committee heads and members. Established a communication channel and guidelines to facilitate workflow between committees. Organized team-building workshops. Supervised ushers throughout the days of the event.

Participated in a series of labs that worked on detecting the microbiome profile changes among newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia patients.
