As a Computer Lab Technician at Shalom University College, I am responsible for managing and maintaining the college’s computer labs to ensure an optimal learning environment for students and staff. My primary responsibilities include:

Lab Maintenance: Ensuring all computer systems and peripherals are fully operational, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing regular maintenance to minimize downtime.
Software Management: Installing, updating, and configuring essential software and tools required for academic and research purposes.
Technical Support: Assisting students and faculty with technical challenges, providing guidance on using lab resources, and resolving issues promptly to maintain productivity.
Network Management: Monitoring and maintaining the lab’s network connectivity, ensuring secure and efficient internet access for academic activities.
Resource Allocation: Managing lab schedules, maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies, and ensuring equitable access to resources for all users.
Policy Enforcement: Upholding the university’s policies on lab usage, including security protocols and proper handling of equipment.
