Hadidjatou Nênê Sandou YAYA has a bachelor's degree in Anglophone studies but works mostly in social programs. She has over 6 years of experience as a volunteer for social activities. She is a gender equality and climate advocate with advanced capabilities in project management and public speaking. Active in many associations/organisations, she learns and continues to serve as a young leader; she also worked and still works on different projects to contribute to the development of her community. At the social and legal action center, she volunteered as the coordinator of youth and environment programs, communication officer at ANGeWoL and Information officer at the umbrella of Association and clubs at the University of Kara ( The second public university of Togo ) So passionate about public speaking, she started participating in eloquence competitions since 2016-2017. She was the first runner-up during the spelling Bee competition in 2019, spoken words champion twice, National and International ( online ) in 2021 and 2022, She was also the first runner-up of the National Public Speaking Competition for females in Togo ( CAOF 2023). She has been requested to intervene as the facilitator in some forums and Organizations, both online and on-site; national and International. She has also host some big events such as Beauty contests of Blitta, Cultural diversity festival in 2022, sponsored by the U.S. embassy ( Togo ) etc… Striving for excellence, she has always worked so hard to be at the top, this dedication made her get the prize as the best female student in 2019 as she mostly come with higher grade at school. As a French country citizen, she has an inexplicable love for the English language and has made difference at school. Most of her competitions were in English and was also President of the English club 2018-2019 at her school. Hadidjatou is YALI Accra Alumna and a Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumna (2023). She has her own organisation called Impact For Development to continue her work with vulnerable people, women, youth, and children in the areas of leadership, sustainable economic opportunities, equal opportunities, and climate adaptation towards sustainable development, especially in rural communities. She is currently the country Director of EcoClimate Vision (Togo), leadership class program coordinator at TFI (The Fort Institute) and Founder and Executive Director of Impact For Development.
