Narel Gimenes Ferreira

I'm a Chemical Engineer by background with 8 years of experience in the Energy industry, ranging from process engineering and project management at Shell in Brazil to strategy management consulting and operating modeled design and transformation at BCG in Southeast Asia. Currently, I'm working at Ampersand Partners, leading teams in business development and consulting projects focused on sustainable energy transition and robust ESG strategies. In my personal life, I'm passionate about traveling and experiencing different cultures. I've visited over 50 countries (and counting!), and can speak Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French. Additionally, I've been practicing yoga since 2014 and am a certified yoga instructor by the International Yoga Alliance! I'm also an active member of several women's networks, where I advocate for gender equality, mentor younger women, and support their career advancement. In the future, I hope to merge these passions with my work by actively bringing more women to STEM careers, increasing diversity in technical areas, and incorporating yoga and meditation practices in corporations to reduce people's anxiety and mental health issues.
