Orchestrated 24 successful cleanup drives in the first quarter of the year along the Diani coastline, collecting 1,316 kg of marine plastics with an average participation of 22 individuals.
Initiated impactful projects such as the Pencil for Plastic Drive and educational events to promote sustainability practices among schools and students.
Conducted training and capacity building activities to enhance the skills and awareness of fellow volunteers.
Spearheaded the HERI hub Mtaani Awareness Campaign by Health and Research Institute Kenya since May, focusing on educating the local community in Diani about environmental pollution, best health practices and environmental stewardship.
