Product Management is the core responsibility with administration support to the Chief Executive Officer and the overall organization. Managing AFEW Kenya’s Occupational Health and safety requirements including compliance and organizing Fire, First aid and Occupational Health and Safety committee trainings. Managing statutory compliance including annual renewal of business permits, food & hygiene and Fire Clearance certificate and annual OSHA registration of workplace. Coordinating new employee onboarding, including setting up employee files, conducting orientation, and administering benefits and payroll paperwork. Maintaining the organization's HRIS (Human Resource Information System) by inputting employee data, updating job descriptions, and generating reports. Assisting with processing payroll and ensured accurate time and attendance records. Managing staff welfare and responding to employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll, benefits, and employment policies. Managing employee files and records and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Assisted managers with performance management activities, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback, and coaching. Managed employee leave requests, approved or denied requests based on company policies and procedures, maintained leave records, and coordinated employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels. Promoting a fair and respectful workplace culture that complies with all applicable labor laws and regulations, and worked to resolve any issues related to non-compliance promptly and effectively.

Core Responsibility in managing itineraries. Guiding students on school ecology trips and educating them about conservation and the environment. Customer Service; Receiving guests, educating them about conservation and giving guided nature trail walks through Giraffe Centre Sanctuary. Overseeing animal welfare practices and procedures, including monitoring animal health, nutrition, and behavior, ensuring appropriate environmental conditions and socialization, implementing enrichment programs, and conducting regular training and assessments of staff and volunteers.

Supporting in Administration Activities. Responding to enquiries. Helping the Human Resource Officer with the procurement of office supplies and maintenance of office equipment and environment. Generating minutes from meetings. Supervision of grounds work. Liaising with accounts department regarding payments of all invoices from vendors. Ensure up to date of statutory compliance of trading licenses, insurances and other documentation.

Educating visitors on wildlife conservation. Managing itineraries; Taking students on school ecology trips and educating them about conservation and the environment. Receiving students at Giraffe Centre and educating them about Giraffes and the need and ways of conserving the environment. Holding workshops for trainers on Education for Sustainable Development. Customer Service; Receiving guests, educating them about conservation and giving guided nature trail walks through Giraffe Centre Sanctuary. Managing the feeding of giraffes.

Monitoring and recording the progress of beehive fenced farms in a bid to mitigate Human Elephant Conflicts in Mwakoma and Mwambiti Villages.

Developed and improved marketing department, by actively participating in market research. Received 97% satisfaction rating from customers after completed phone or video call. Kept records of customer interactions, processed customer accounts and filed documents. Collaborated with team to quickly resolve customer complaints with appropriate action. Working closely with community members to reduce human-wildlife conflict through tracking elephants after they crop raided local farms. Successful planning and overseeing the placement of beehive fences with community members, helping manage Human Elephant conflicts in Sagalla.

Participating in the implementation of independent projects that contribute to the conservation of savanna ecosystems. Participating in the intercultural learning process that connects Kenyan and American Students. Organizing wildlife conservation awareness programs through visiting local landowners and studying their history of Human-wildlife coexistence.
