Saw an opportunity to help improve organizational communication to students, parents and stakeholders. Using team leadership and expert stakeholder communication to drive the project for an educational newsletter, run by students, to enhance the organisations’ communication, while fostering journalistic skills among young people, alongside my full-time role. Led and managed all project phases from initiation through to closure, using hybrid methodologies. Conducted initial stakeholder assessment to assist, coordinate, develop and align project objectives with stakeholder requirements. Ensured stakeholder buy in, agreement and sign off; with the development and design of content, emphasising adherence to quality and organisational standards, through a minimal viable product (MVP) through coordinated cross functional communication, with varying levels of stakeholders, from C-suite executives to team members. Successfully enacted closing procedures and archived documentation for future processes. Led a 10-month English Literature Course Design Project to streamline faculties workload by producing educational materials for team members, ensuring it was nationally aligned. Managed the project lifecycle from initial research to final documentation and handover. Developed project charter and project planning through collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure quality standards were achieved. Designed a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and budget for curriculum development, ensuring the project finished on time, within scope and budget. Showed adaptability and problem solving for emerging issues while aligning and testing curriculum materials, through an MVP for stakeholders’ collaboration, while incorporating pedagogical approaches and assessment methods. Presented the successfully completed curriculum to faculty and documented closing processes and handover for future use in processes.

Led and delivered a sports implementation project for girls by leading a cross functional team to introduce new sporting opportunities. This resulted in the successful development and implementation of a robust cricket program for girls, expanding the range of sporting opportunities offered by the organisation. Conducted risk management and mitigation of emerging issues induced by the global pandemic: while effectively managing project scope, schedule, and budget of 10 months. I chose to implement waterfall project management methodologies, to bring about the successful completion and implementation of the project, along with adaptability and problem solving. Performed data analysis to address risks and issues, proactively, by monitoring performance metrics to ensure project success while communicating project milestones with stakeholders. Conducted closing processes to provide guides for future program maintenance. Program is till used annually. Saw an opportunity to introduce a new curriculum to the organisation, so I collaborated with SMEs and cross functional teams to lead the delivery of a sporting curriculum and change implementation project. Resulted in the creation of a curriculum specifically tailored for girls’ sports, while ensuring alignment with National standards within a 10-month window. Coordinated and conducted frequent progress reviews, to ensure quality assurance and to ensure change management was transparent and effective. Saw a significant, 80%, increase in participation achieved buy-in from stakeholders by spearheading collaboration with professional sporting teams. Enacted hand over to processes. Project saw 100% success within the first year with 30 stakeholders, this saw an increase of 300% in the second year to 120 stakeholders. Program is annually used.
