• Collecting and validating process data of the CDU and VDU plants. • Played an instrumental role in the following projects and tasks: I. Preliminary design and sizing of a new hydrogen line from ELAB to APRCO. II. Designed and developed a custom tool that calculates heater skin temperature, in accordance with API 530 standard. III. Participated in the sizing of a flowmeter orifice to analyze gas quantities burned in flares, utilizing statistical methods to establish quantity specifications for the Zero Flare project. IV. Currently working on the Zero Flare project in the detailed engineering phase, responsible for reviewing project documents and conducting equipment sizing and P&IDs checks.

V. Developed a suite of tools for equipment efficiency calculations and line sizing, utilizing my proficiency in Python programming language. The tools, which include a pump performance tool, heater efficiency tool, compressor efficiency tool, and line sizing tool, were developed as part of a larger ongoing project that aims to use only field data as input and follows the calculations described in various standards and recommended practices, such as API 610, API RP 14E, and AIChE equipment testing procedures. Designed a dashboard using Excel to display key performance indicators (KPIs) for all company plants, utilizing data extracted from the night shift reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. • Performing material and heat balances as well as process simulation (on Excel or hysys) to ensure the feasibility of identified initiatives and retrofits. • Providing and analyzing process equipment specifications by coordinating with vendors for proper sizing. • Reviewing contract specifications and requesting process design information if necessary. • Developing and reviewing piping and instrumentation drawings (PID) and process flow diagrams (PFD). • Examine existing data and verify vendor documents to check compliance with design and code requirements.

Read and analyze specifications, schedules, logs, and test results to determine changes to equipment controls required to produce the Ethylene product. Record operating data, instrument readings, documents, and results of laboratory analyses. Observe local instruments, gauges, and meters to verify conformance to standard operating practice... Perform the usual commissioning task such as leak and hydro tests, line purging, and lining up utility and process lines ready for service.
