Sylvia Akurut

I’m a graduate of industrial and organizational psychology with diverse interests, I co-founded a venture-TAL Youth Uganda where we help local farmers market their produce (sweet potatoes) and use some to produce bakery products like donuts. I am a creative person with strong organizational skills that I attained during my internship and my time at school where by I was involved in several programs including leadership among the students body. I represented my University-Makerere University as a campus ambassador with Teach for Uganda, a role which involved liaising the university programs with those of Teach for Uganda such as recruiting University graduates for Teacher leader positions. I’m a good team player with excellent communication skills both written and spoken, I am proficient with Microsoft suite and other software like slack and Teams. And I’m a very fast learner. I also have great skills in research as demonstrated during my final year research project and during my internship while still at school.
