Prepares Request for Tender (RFT), using detailed item specifications, to achieve the right quality for goods to be purchased
Determines relevant specifications per product, advises requester on specifications and quality issues/differences and seeks clarifications with the requester if needed
Manages purchasing contracts
Provides technical support to construction projects
Lead reference to issues related with Water Engineering
Ensures annual service and maintenance of Water & Habitat equipment and machinery
Assists Quality Control Unit by developing accurate technical specifications
Provides Engineering support to the customers in close cooperation with Regional Water & Habitat Coordinator
In close cooperation with Water & Habitat customers, develops specifications/design for engineering projects
Provides regular updates to Regional Water & Habitat on activities carried out by the logistic hub in the region
Maintains regional emergency stock in line with contingency stock planning
Updates customers on new products and emerging technical trends
Liaises with inspection companies and ICRC Quality Control team, to ensure the quality and specifications of delivered goods/services are in conformity with the contract
Ensures regular supplier evaluation visits, confirming sustainability, social compliance, capacity to deliver quality goods/services, availability of stocks among others
Helps the supply chain team by providing proper description/specifications of goods for item coding

Preparing technical and commercial project proposals and performing technical presentations
Designing water pumping and boosting systems; it involves carrying out surveys, sizing and selection of equipment to provide water as per customer’s requirements
Sizing and sale of water pumps, solar power products, swimming pool and solar equipment
Water treatment projects management which involves planning for the installation, liaising with client and technicians, project documentation and commissioning
Business development by preparation of quotations and customer visits
Continuously researching and monitoring the market, including competitor activity

Marketing the company’s general laboratory products including industrial products
Researching on the company’s products and competition products with a view of perfectly understanding the products in order to facilitate their effective marketing within the markets
Carrying out market survey to determine strengths and weaknesses of the competition with a view of developing strategies to beat them
Identification of suitable clients for the company’s products and aggressively marketing them to the relevant clients
Planning and execution of marketing activities to realize time to set sales targets
Developing effective strategies to acquire and retain clients within the Kenyan and regional markets

Developing, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System by Liaising with owner departments to draft SOPs, WI, process forms and records
Conducting internal audits of all Sanergy processes to ensure that they adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
Setting up in-line production processes quality checks
Following up to ensure that all the checks are conducted as appropriate
Setting up data collection methods for all in-line production process quality checks
Analyzing data and providing insights for improvement
Ensuring all corrective & preventive measures are implemented
Catalyst to change in all processes by offering advisory on continuous improvement
Ensuring environmental, health and safety rules are adhered to
Ensuring compliance and adherence to Kaizen 6S

Testing and validating raw materials against standards
Inspection of the finished goods against the National and International standards
Inspection and testing of process parameters at the colour coating line
Inspection and testing of parameters in the utility plants e.g. effluent and sewage treatment plant
Recording and analysis of data obtained from the inspection and testing parameters
Proper housekeeping in the laboratory and ensuring safety procedures are adhered to

Effluent analysis: PH, TDS, Conductivity and heavy metals
Air quality monitoring; lead in air
Introduction to application of AAS in analysis of lead alloys, air quality monitoring and effluent analysis
Finished product analysis/testing
Preparation of solution/standards for use in AAS and wet analysis
Particle size/sieve analysis and water absorption test in lead oxide samples
Analysis of process materials: PbO2 in positive electrodes, PbO in negative electrodes and moisture content in formed and unformed electrodes
Unit operations including process control and raw materials certification
