Attached with maintenance department responsible for maintenance of all waste water pump stations around Lusaka and maintenance within the waste water treatment plant. Collaborated with a team of engineers and technicians to perform repairs and upgrades to all plant equipment. Scheduled and planned all maintenance jobs. Conducted weekly routine maintenance inspections of all plant equipment and pump stations, serviced equipment, performed maintenance routines, repaired of broken equipment and recommended upgrades and replacements when necessary. Disassembled malfunctioning equipment to locate broken parts and complete repairs, working closely with technicians. Created and maintained documentation, including service records, repair reports, and functional evaluations of all equipment and waste water pump stations.

Walked through the general plant operation and the applied operation and maintenance systems of different machinery around the plant. Conducted routine maintenance and repairs of all plant equipment.

Conducted research on types of machinery including pumps, compressors, air-condition systems, air ducts, industrial chillers, turbines, generators, transformers, cranes and valves. Carried out maintenance on machines at the power station under supervision and guidance of supervisors and technicians. Observed and learned about power station operations, department roles and maintenance and safety procedures. Performed a wide range of other tasks across various departments.
