Prototyped the Outbox EDU platform which would be used to link alumni to employment opportunities. Implemented interactive user interfaces using Reactjs. Supported 2 students to complete their software engineering program through providing mentorship and support.

Contributed to product development by communicating and translating client needs into features for developers to implement. Developed and maintained relationships with new clients that increased sales of the company. Improved website rankings by working with the marketing team to develop SEO strategy while creating blogs and social media content. Helped clients to determine which products are performing well in the market through providing valuable data from market research surveys.

Undertook a research project, “Bridging the information gap among expectant mothers in Uganda by use of USSD” to build a solution to reduce maternal deaths in Uganda. Conducted research and assisted in collecting data to find out the leading causes of maternal deaths. Integrated Africa’s Talking API to build a USSD application to showcase the basic operation of the application. Co-authored and submitted a research paper to the 6th International conference on Mobile technology for development (M4D2018).

Successfully trained students in 2 primary schools and 1 vocational school in Uganda how to program using Scratch programming language. Contributed to program development by adding and removing modules for the course. Provided feedback and improvements that could be made to the program to the stakeholders (Enabel and Makerere University).
