Syngenta is transforming its procurement landscape through a global SAP Ariba Source to Pay implementation - and we need a bilingual operations expert to help make it a success. We're hiring a Subject Matter Expert – Procurement Operations who brings both strong procure-to-pay knowledge and fluency in Russian, enabling direct support to our Russian-speaking supplier and user community. Based in Pune, you'll be the go-to person for platform operations, user enablement, and supplier coordination - bridging language and process gaps that matter at a global scale.

Accountabilities:

• Enable Russian-speaking users and suppliers
  • deliver Ariba training, guide regional users through the platform, and support Russian-speaking suppliers through Ariba Network registration and onboarding in their language
• Manage day-to-day procurement operations
  • handle purchase order support, supplier queries, PO closures, changes, and corrections with accuracy and speed
• Administer the Guided Buying experience
  • manage tile setups, update policies and instructions, maintain preferred vendor rankings, hyperlinks, and form configurations
• Own master data and system health
  • maintain user data, approval matrices, catalogue visibility, and monitor system and network connectivity on an ongoing basis
• Drive process improvement
  • identify optimization opportunities across the procure-to-pay cycle, prioritize issues, and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:

• Fluent in Russian (read, written, and spoken) - this is a core requirement for this role, not a nice-to-have
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• 2–3 years of experience in business process support within a captive shared services center for a multinational organization
• Understanding of transactional procurement and accounting processes
• Proven ability to work closely with IT and business support teams to maintain system uptime and resolve issues
• Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis to organize and present information
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies

Desired Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba - Guided Buying, Ariba Network, catalogue management, or procurement modules
• Exposure to vendor management and onboarding processes, including vendor creation in SAP
• Experience supporting a CIS, Eastern European, or Russian-speaking business region in a shared services or procurement context
