At Lux Dental for Kids, I took on many responsibilities as a front desk assistant. I helped check insurances for all of our offices. In addition, prior authorizations were done by me, and I help check to see if they were approved or denied. I was responsible for reminder calls and confirmations to ensure patients came to their appointments. The future schedule was something that I also helped with which includes putting the times that a doctor works and their end of day along with their lunch blocks. Once in a while, I would send messages to patients that have not been in the office for a long time to remind them to schedule an appointment or follow up with them.
