Projects
Employment through Technology and Innovation (ETI)
The ETI project was launched to increase employment and income-generating opportunities—particularly for youth—in disadvantaged areas across Egypt. Generously funded through several grants by Hands Along the Nile Development Services (HANDS) and the American government, and implemented through a multi-partnership model with One Global Economy (OGE) and SoukTel, the project leveraged the power of information and communication technology (ICT) to drive economic empowerment. ETI provided targeted training, technical support, job matching services, and access to financing for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small business owners—helping bridge the gap between potential and opportunity in underserved communities.
Funded through several generous grants by TOMS Shoes Inc., The Footprint Project is a transformative initiative aimed at distributing 1000+ pairs of shoes to underprivileged children. Beyond providing essential footwear, the project empowers children by educating them about their basic rights—promoting dignity, protection, and self-worth. Through every pair given, The Footprint Project walks with children toward a healthier, safer, and more informed future.
Young Enterpreneur Training and Exchange Projects (YEP)
The YEP project was designed to empower young entrepreneurs in both Egypt and the United States through cross-cultural learning and targeted business training. Generously funded through multiple grants by Hands Along the Nile Development Services (HANDS) and the American government, the project was implemented through a dynamic multi-partnership model involving organizations in both countries. YEP provided general and localized training in small business development and management, alongside entrepreneurial exchange programs, fostering innovation, mutual understanding, and economic opportunity across borders.
