▪ main activities and responsibilities:
• Plan, design, and closely supervise all constructions in project and supervise the
implementation phases.
• Update construction chronograms weekly and progress reports.
• Identify and assess the needs for construction and maintenance (Accessibility

and technical information to other professionals.
• Ensure that all construction activities within the designated areas are well planned,
coordinated and be able to utilize all available resources in coordination with other
functional Managers in directing and supervising all involved site personnel and

building projects are completed safely, within budget and on time.
• In collaboration with the Project Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator and the HR
Coordinator, participating in the planning and implementation of HR associated
processes (recruitment, training, briefing/debriefing, evaluation, detection of
potential, development and communication) of the staff under my responsibility.
• Coordinating purchase orders related to the work activity and checking the
materials in stock and warehouse inventory control.

Plan and design the construction work (plan, map, Bill of Quantity, work plan,
budget, etc.), submit it to the logistics department in order to organize call for
quotations.
• Organize regular field visit on HI place of work (Health facilities, rehabilitation unit,
PSS rooms, offices, centre, partners’ premises, etc.)
• Identify and assess the needs for construction and maintenance (Accessibility
work, maintenance and repair work in HI location of intervention) and prepare a
needs plan for follow-up to be submitted to the project manager.
• Support the logistics department in the selection of suppliers in charge of
construction work.
• Follow-up each construction project (the good achievements of the work, the
potential delays, the application of contract HI has signed with supplier, the quality
of the work, the appreciation of the beneficiary, etc.)
• Organize regular meeting with the beneficiary and the supplier to discuss about
the construction project progress and the conditions of its completion and to
ensure effective and timely coordination.
• Management and planning of every stage of a construction project and ensure
building projects are completed safely, within budget and on time.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with project stakeholders,
including community leaders, public services providers, institutions, and the
District Development Committees.

• writing technical projects proposals of const ruction projects , plans and preparing
st u dies, and bills of qua ntitie s for projects.
• supervise the implementation of WASH and construction projects, as well as other
activities in the IDP s camps.
• Field visits to ensure that the project's plans and technic al works on the ground, as
well as the bi l ls of quantities th at the pr oject was constructed on, wer e followed.
• Prepare weekly reports that detail all technical specifications of projects that have
b een completed.
• Enhancing the capabilities of the office in working with the latest possible methods
in the implementation of con struction projects according to the highest
specifications.
• Assist in preparing service monitoring reports a nd disseminating the fi nding to
community representatives and the residents o f the camp.
• Assist i n ensuring that infrastructural improvement, repai r and rehabilitation of
camp infrastructure aimed at improving safety and protec t ion of refugees and
asylum s eekers within the IDP camps are made according to relevant standards
and guid elines.
• Iden tify sol utions/strategies that promote community par ticipa tion in care and
maintenance activities in the camp and support to create/suppor t care and
maintenan ce commit tees.
• Build and maintain mutually respectful relationships with site manageme nt team,
ser vice pro viders, local authorities, IDP community mem bers a s well as host
community mem
bers.
• Attend and facilitate meetings with stakeholders e rs, such as local a authorities s, Sub
National Clusters, NGOs, INGOs, UN and IDPs
