Olympiah Otieno

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and completed an AI and Machine Learning nanodegree. I am a data science enthusiast with proficient skills in machine learning, natural language processing, data annotation, and AI model training. Most recently, I had the opportunity to contribute to an ongoing project at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), as a Swahili annotator, in developing a Cultural Multilingual LMM Benchmark for 100 languages. I hope to apply my technical skills to work on innovative AI projects that address critical areas such as agriculture and climate. Additionally, create AI systems that put the users need’s above all else, as it is consistent with my commitment to ethical data practices and belief in the transformative potential of technology.
