Key achievements:
Developed concept notes, proposals, surveys, work plans, templates, graphic designs, social media posts, case studies, project reports and powerpoint presentations for a wide range of projects on themes such as data governance, AI, gender, water, hygiene and sanitation in the African context.
Moderated webinars, speaking engagements, twitter spaces, instagram lives and facebook lives on topics such as the power of storytelling and change and empowerment within the African diaspora.
Developed and implemented mentorship frameworks for the Impact West Africa Fellowship and the Advanced Advocacy Program, both supported by the Aspen Global Innovators Group.
Supported in curriculum development for the Aspen New Voices Fellowship and Impact West Africa Fellowship.
Managed the Impact Fellows’ databases by documenting their advocacy plans and achievements on Google Drive.
Provided administrative and logistical support for the Impact West Africa Fellowship in-person workshops including flight bookings, hotel bookings, events planning, coordination of translators and fellow coordination.
Collaborated with CSOs, advocacy organisations, research institutions, policymakers among other stakeholders in implementing projects through interviews and desk reviews on specific topics and sectors.
Orchestrated AfricAI Conference 2023, strengthening the understanding of the potential and challenges related to responsible and open AI in Africa for 270+ stakeholders from 27 African countries in the data and AI sector.
Developed and implemented a career development framework for Niyel’s advocacy department and a year-long reward and recognition program, improving employee satisfaction and retention.
Represented Niyel at conferences by preparing and facilitating workshops.

Supported project leads in the execution of highly effective strategies for projects in the private, public, and social sectors. Supported in the planning, monitoring and evaluation activities of the project, in articulation with the Project Manager. Contributed to the implementation of Niyel's communication strategy. Performed administrative tasks for the Kigali office.

Key achievements:
Co-produced a show on Youtube that highlights expert views on navigating advocacy campaigns.
Co-developed a comprehensive framework for the UI/UX and technical design, most useful content, outreach plan and launch plan for the Africa Data Governance Hub, generating over 30,000 visits and up to 200 community members in 6 months and securing a funding of $400,000 USD from the Hewlett Foundation post-launch.
Managed the Africa Data Governance project by developing a year-long work plan, assigning tasks to team members, conducting monthly client meetings with the Hewlett Foundation, Omidyar network and FORD Foundation and coordinating virtual convenings with an advisory committee of 6 African data governance experts.
Developed work plans, concept notes, reports, proposals and powerpoint presentations for clients, partners and other stakeholders contributing to the successful implementation of 5 projects.
Managed the Africa Data Governance Hub community by sharing content such as blogs, courses and policy briefs and moderating discussions among community members.
Actively participated in client conference calls, taking notes and contributing to effective communication with clients.

Co-organised the SDGs Within Social Boundaries 2021 Conference that brought together over 1000 development stakeholders from across the globe.

Recorded and transcribed the proceedings from the 2021 SDGs Within Social Boundaries Conference.

Conducted a market study for potential hubs and cities for the launch of the Young Leader Program in the Anglophone West African region.

Conducted secondary research and identified the city of launch for the Young Leaders Program in the Anglophone West African region.
Developed a database of potential partners and entrepreneurship enablers for the Holberton Software Engineering Program in the Anglophone West African region.

Conducted a landscape analysis of trends, opportunities, and gaps in reproductive health in East and West Africa, and interviewed stakeholders to determine the future of the field and The Hewlett Foundation’s niche and comparative advantage.
Co-developed proposals, blogs and policy briefs on key development issues.
Conducted research and created a database for training manuals and guides on gender and masculinity.
Produced the Hewlett Foundation’s 2019/2020 Transparency, Participation, Governance and Accountability (TPA) Report for Burkina Faso, Senegal and Ghana and disseminated the report across Niyel’s social media platforms.
Analyzed data from quarterly social media reports and provided recommendations for further engagement.

Orchestrated 22 mentoring sessions on career readiness, 1 leadership academy and the Wasichana Wa Afrika Summit 2018 connecting 20 female professionals with 46 young East African women.
Designed a gauging system for the academic and project-based progress of 46 Akili Dada scholars on Salesforce.
Developed and reviewed the scholars’ progress reports ensuring completion of deliverables and verifying that outcomes produced tangible impact.
