Remote monitoring of all installed Photovoltaic Solar hybrid systems to maintain the optimal operations of all Assets across sites. Ensure that system performance through remote monitoring platforms and on-site reports are optimal and any issues flagged is resolved as soon as possible; this include but is not limited to troubleshooting, performing checks and maintenance on mini-grids (solar PV systems and distribution network) which will include working on PV arrays, inverters, electrical components, cabling,; L V/MV distribution lines with smart metering Technology. Support creating SOPS, keeping all documentation such as trackers up to date , running processes and work plans to ensure smooth and efficient operation in the O&M team. Robustly and proactively monitor generator operations to minimize operational cost while maximizing system uptime Power Engineering, for addressing and solving unplanned problems either remotely or on-site, which are either identified by system monitoring or reported by the Field technicians (i.e. Power asset problems, asset vandalism, distribution network issues, smart meters, etc.). Establish a comprehensive understanding through detailed fact-finding and implement an established procedure for correcting issues in a timely fashion when dealing with unexpected issues. Supporting periodic maintenance; Quarterly, six-monthly and annually of power assets. Work with various PowerGen stakeholders to identify an issue and solve it correctly and ensure that the failure does not re-occur. Responsible for providing feedback in a standardized manner to the Snr. O&M Manager - including sites operations, summary of issues, resolution steps, challenges. Etc

Support the Project Engineer in Managing fabrication of mounting structures for mini-grid PV modules and storage batteries Work with the Project Engineer to Developed and manage metering and construction inventories to ensure availability of materials at all time Work in teams to do initial assessment of communities for the implementation of mini-grid Work with the Project Engineer in Sizing and Design initial demand assessment for large scale consumers. Support Project Engineer in drafting plan sets and completing the bill of materials for projects. Work in team with the VP of Engineering and the Project Engineer to complete all electrical designs to ensure the project meets all local standards. Also conduct checks onsite to ensure the projects are built to the specifications.
