Mohamed Farahat

A Computer Engineering graduate with a strong foundation in both web development and data engineering. After four years of experience in Graphic Design industry, now, I have transitioned back to my main field of education with a renewed focus on applying my technical skills. My core specialization lies in both Web Development and Data Engineering. I have a strong command of programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, in addition to version control systems like Git, with expertise in frameworks like Django, Flask, and Node.js and front-end technologies for web applications. In the realm of Data Engineering, I am well-versed in the complete data pipeline, from ETL processes to data cleaning and transformation. My toolkit includes Python for data processing, bash scripting for automation, and expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases. I have hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Snowflake, Kafka, Apache Airflow, PySpark, and Hadoop, allowing me to tackle large-scale data challenges efficiently. My educational journey has been marked by continuous learning and specialization. I've completed several courses and tracks, covering topics like Python Backend Engineering with Django and Flask, MERN Stack Development, and Data Engineering technologies. Currently, I am pursuing professional certificates in Frontend and Backend Development, Database Engineering, Data Warehouses Engineering, and Data Engineering with Meta and IBM. I am currently still in the learning phase, but I have had the privilege of participating in job simulation and virtual experience programs with world-class corporations like Accenture, Lyft, J.P. Morgan, and Walmart, providing me with real-world insights and practical exposure to industry best practices. Also, I have been participating in various internships to have the opportunity to apply my skills to real world projects during the learning process.
