Provide professional Development to a large team of teachers
Manage the resources of the department within the limits of the delegated budget and in accordance with the school’s financial procedures.
Ensure that appropriate performance management arrangements are in place and maintained in the department and that a robust program of professional development is designed and maintained.
Responsible for the selection of textbooks and teaching materials, and the methods of teaching used by members of the Department.
Review examination results within the Department and implement remedial action when necessary.
Ensure that base-line data is being used to monitor, and where possible improve, performance of the Department and the pupils within it

Tailor professional learning content to meet educators' needs.
Facilitate engaging face-to-face and virtual professional learning for educators.
Develop content and materials for professional learning.

Evaluate the performance of schools, education institutions and training institutions, and approve them periodically in accordance with criteria approved by the Council.

Marking IGCSE/AL scripts to the required standard
Preparing and submitting a report to the principal examiner

Work on developing schools` systems, to meet KHDA and international standards support local and international investors to establish K-12 schools within UAE
Review and update school policy and curriculum development plan
Assist schools to achieve high performance KHDA reports
Develop curriculum, compose and write schoolbooks based on international curriculum
Train school staff through lectures and workshops to develop their performance and abilities

Plan and implement professional development pogroms for ADEC school teachers through lectures and workshops to enhance their performance and abilities
Hold regular meetings, formal and informal with ADEC staff, to discuss SIP and to ensure achieving the yearly academic goals and targets.
