1. Planned, designed, monitored, and evaluated the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (BMZ) EUR 4 million contribution to the Energy and Climate Change Cluster (ECCC), focusing on renewable energy, energy efficiency, conservation, climate change, mitigation, resilience, and sustainable buildings and construction programmes.
2. Assessment of training needs and conducted stakeholder engagement workshops, conferences, seminars, dialogues, training, and capacity-building sessions on Energy Management Systems, Energy Efficiency and Conservation and Renewable Energy by collaborating with policymakers and with project executing agencies, including the Ministry of Energy - Power Division (MoE), National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA), Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCCEC), Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA).
3. Designed and delivered hands-on training sessions for eight (8) public municipal service companies, including Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM), Water and Sanitation Agency Lahore (WASA), Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), Capital Development Authority (CDA), Municipal Corporation Faisalabad, and two hundred (200) local government administrations across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on municipal energy data management, low and no investment energy efficiency measures and objectives, targets and action plan (OTP).
4. Managed and supervised the module objective and output indicators of the three (3) Grant Funding Agreements with the University of Engineering and Technology (UET Peshawar), Association of Development of Local Governments (ADLG) and LUMS Energy Institute (LEI).
5. Created the Terms of References (TORs) of services and goods of short-term consultancy assignments, service providers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and engineering firms.
6. Provided technical feedback on the National Action Plan (NAP), National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Policy (2023), Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC), Roadblock Analysis of Building Sector in Pakistan and the NEECA Strategic Plan (2023).
7. Created and documented success stories, best practices, and lessons learned, highlighting energy savings, Carbon dioxide (CO2) emission reductions, and techno-commercial solar feasibility.
8. Conducted energy audits and assessments of ten (10) public buildings, three (3) Water Treatment Plants and forty-seven (47) solid waste fleet vehicles, enhancing energy utilisation.
9. Provided six energy policy recommendations on sustainable energy use and energy-saving opportunities.
10. Conducted on-grid roof-top solar feasibility studies for 14 public buildings in Islamabad.

1. Management and implementation of Private Financing Advisory Network’s (PFAN) Programmatic Activities • Alignment with PFAN Project Documents, Annual Work Plans, Budgets, and earmarked funding agreements. • Collaborate with the PPSE Core Team, Global Coordinator, and PMU for designing and executing PFAN scale-up initiatives.
2. Project Identification • Identify viable Clean Energy (CE) and Climate projects, including mini/off-grid energy and climate adaptation projects. • Assess projects with credible investors and developers for potential inclusion in the PFAN development pipeline and investment facilitation.
3. Project Evaluation • Provide support in evaluating identified projects at the request of the PPSE Core Team, Global Coordinator, or PMU.
4. Coordination & Network Management • Coordinate PFAN Advisor and investor network expansion across the Country. • Oversee network activities, maintain relationships, and organise PFAN events (Roadshows, Workshops, Investment Fora). • Identify new Network Advisors, Network Partners, and Strategic Partners.
5. Provision of Support to PFAN’s Project Development & Financing Facilitation (Coaching) Activities • Coordinate PFAN Advisors offering project development advice and financing assistance. • Develop project-specific scopes of work, including early and late-stage development, procurement, legal advice, and due diligence. • Coordinate with in-country multilateral activities and donors for additional technical assistance.
6. Financing Facilitation • Facilitate investment and financing for projects in the PFAN Pipeline, including equity and debt components. • Mobilize PFAN's resources and networks, as well as collaborate with other multilateral activities and donors.
7. Outreach & Communication • Represent PFAN in the Country and promote its interests. • Identify and acquire new PFAN Advisors, Network and Strategic Partners, and Investment Partners. • Represent PFAN to donors and stakeholders. • Organize PFAN events and outreach activities. • Participate in clean energy conferences and investment-related events. • Identify funding and program opportunities and prepare proposals. • Maintain contact with international programs, investors, and stakeholders to understand the investment landscape. • Develop and implement a communications strategy to promote PFAN and disseminate information about its activities throughout the Country.

Key Accomplishments

1. Successfully introduced 15 clean energy and climate resilience projects to REEEP for investment facilitation.
2. Brokered a partnership between Karachi Electric and PFAN.

I led a staff 150 to complete the project development of 2 renewable energy utilities scale projects, including planning, design, installation, testing, supply chain management, execution, commissioning, facilities management, operations and maintenance (O&M). My role included coordination with federal and provincial technical and operating committees (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, Alternative Energy Development Board, Environmental Protection Agency, National Transmission and Despatch Company, Central Power Purchasing Authority and Distribution Companies). I also spearheaded business development and relationship management with SMEs and Investors. My responsibility also included maintaining Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Standards during EPC and Operations and Maintenance activities. Key Accomplishments

1. Maintained the highest energy generation and power plant availability at 50MW Zephyr wind power station in 2020 with Zero Loss Time Injury (LTI) and major machinery breakdown.
2. Developed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and developed active and reactive maintenance and administrative procedures.
3. Established Asset Management and O&M Expansion strategies for sustainability and promoting energy efficiency and conservation technologies and practices.
4. Company Representative on technical, financial, commercial, security and environmental matters dealing with Customers, International Advisors (Lahmayer), Donors (IFC, ADB), Original Equipment Manufacturers (Siemens, ABB, Cummins), Contractors and Stakeholders.
5. Oversaw the complete Contract Management, including Energy Purchase Agreements (PPA), Operating Procedures, Implementation Agreements (IA), Operations, Maintenance, Erection, Procurement and Construction Agreements (O&M and EPC Agreements), Warranty and Insurance Agreements.

I worked as the technical advisor and energy expert in the project management and business development of 100 MW Renewable energy power projects.

Key Accomplishments

1. Performed additional responsibility of "Owner's Representative" on behalf of the Companies and redesigned Wind Farms monitoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and improved the Farms’ efficiency by 30%.
2. Assessed Operations and Maintenance takeover strategies for Wind Turbines (WTGs) and balance of Plant (BOP) sections.
3. Deciphered re-negotiation strategies for FWEL I & II and reduced 33% by recommending energy-efficient and conservation technologies and methodologies for both Electricity Generating stations.
4. Designated as Quality Management System Lead Auditor/ ISO 9001:2015 Implementer for companies

Oversaw complete facility management of the FFCEL 49.5 MW wind power plant, including Technical, commercial, customer service operations, supply chain, administrative, security and HR-related issues of 72 team members.

Key Accomplishments

1. Oversaw site activities and updated operations, monitoring and maintenance standard operating procedures at the FFCEL Site, which increased wind farm complex availability by 4% against Warranted Complex Availability of 94.3%.
2. Monitored pending warranty-related claims and worked for the client, enforced QHSE protocols, achieved zero asset loss, and prepared to report with the regulators, clients, and subcontractors.
3. Executed preventive, periodic, and scheduled maintenance on the Wind Farm Substation and Grid Station with zero complex downtime & resource loss.

Participated in site execution, inspection, testing, commissioning, and supervision works on 132/ 22/ 6.6/ 0.4 Kilo-volts AC Equipment, including scrutiny works on 110/ 48/ 24/ 12 Volts DC Equipment.

Key Accomplishments

1. Processed desktop review of Wind Farms design & EPC and managed MPCL & GAWPL USD 93,000/- by recommending improved and cost-effective electrical and MEP infrastructure design during the project's design phase.
2. Checked run reliability tests on wind turbine generators and SCADA system as per provision in the energy purchase agreement and oversaw the installation, EPA & EPC testing & commissioning of the wind farm.
3. Responsible for the overall electrical Construction, Testing and Commissioning activities.
4. Responsible for coordinating with the Power Purchaser and Independent Engineer (IE) for inspections and testing of equipment.

Responsible for implementation and monitoring of all electrical related works at the Steel Manufacturing Plant, which involves the Construction, Installation and Testing of 132kV Switchyard equipment along with 50MVA Power Transformers, Auxiliary Transformers, Earthing Transformers, Erection of turbines and their installation

Key Accomplishments

1. Examined Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) of gas turbines, medium voltage switchgear and distributed control system (DCS). Developed Single Line (SLDs) and Interconnection Drawings for review & approval of HOD Electrical.
2. Forecasted operations and maintenance (O&M) Shift Charge of a 30 MW Gas-fired Power Plant and conducted preventive, periodic, and scheduled maintenance as Team Leader with ZERO downtime.
3. Prepared feasibility studies on 10 MW Solar & 1 MW Biogas Power Plants and customised commercial and residential solar solutions under TSML Engineering.
