A senior operations expert with 20+ years of global supply chain transformation experience spanning several industries and cultures on 5 continents. Primary focus has been on transforming supply chain operations for Global 1000 companies leveraging my deep domain expertise, unique understanding of both business and system requirements and my leadership skills and deep cultural awareness. My involvement in the industry also encompasses thought leadership through writing, education and various speaking engagements at premier supply chain events including AMR, the Supply Chain Council and APICS on a wide spectrum of topics ranging from global supply chain transformation to reducing the environmental impact of logistics operations. I am also the holder of a US Patent for co-inventing a pioneering supply chain carbon-modeling tool.

- Currently leading the Apple WW BPR Product Ops team charged with a dual mission: 1- process and system (B2B) onboarding of Apple's manufacturing and logistics partners and 2- work with Apple's various LOBs to identify and implement operational improvement opportunities across the network - Led Apple’s Beats LOB strategic supply chain transformation initiative with cross-functional support from 3 continents to reconfigure the supply chain network to reduce leadtimes and improve responsiveness with the rollout of major process upgrades and system and analytics enhancements. This included setting up all of Beats packout operations in China and support the refurb team in setting up a reverse logistics model for the AMR region. This led to the implementation of a number of operational improvement initiatives in planning, inventory management, quality, packaging, compliance and master data management. - Created and established Beats BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) and Analytics team after Apple’s acquisition - Led the Beats Ops and IT M&A team that worked with various Apple groups to integrate Beats processes and systems into the Apple eco-system while fulfilling the executive mandate of minimizing the disruption to the business during the critical holiday quarter.
- Served as the Ops & IT lead on the task force that represented Beats during the secret due diligence phase that led to Apple’s $3B acquisition of Beats.
- Joined Beats as a direct report to the COO and put in charge of defining and executing Beats global supply chain strategy.

- Defined and built the advisory division of the company which resulted in securing several sales deals and a stronger international market positioning.
- Helped prepare the company for its IPO with key contributions across a number of functions: product roadmap, advisory services, sales, marketing strategy and analyst relations. - Led various supply chain strategy initiatives at the company’s key customers in the high tech vertical including Flextronics, Huawei, RIM and Motorola. - Helped a leading EMS company design its new ’Supply Chain Managed Services’ offering with a global Telco supplier as a first joint customer leveraging the E2open integration and collaboration platform as the solution backbone.
- Helped a leading Chinese Telco Equipment maker redefine its global supply chain fulfillment strategy and system implementation plan.
- Selected by the IFC (World Bank Group) to serve as an SME on a Sustainable Supply Chain roundtable tasked with exploring ways to disseminate environmentally friendly logistics operations in poor countries.

- Selected as one of IBM’s 8 Global Strykers (Subject Matter Experts) for the High Tech Industry. - Led an executive-level strategic supply chain initiative at a leading Chinese Telco OEM. The project consisted in assessing the company global inventory management and product costing practices and designing a new model to sustain strategic growth and profit goals. This initial strategic effort led to the definition and execution of a multi year supply chain transformation initiative spanning several functional groups and initiating a major paradigm shift in the company global operational model. - Assisted one of the world’s leading high tech companies assess and redesign its global supply chain strategy and operational infrastructure with the aim of improved planning and execution efficiencies. - Selected to work with IBM Research on a pilot project to design and develop an industry-first supply chain carbon-modeling tool using a Fortune 500 Automotive OEM as a pilot client.

Primary responsibilities included defining a strategy to transform and globalize the supply chain culture and practices for a leading Fortune 100 company and building global delivery framework along with appropriate repository of tools and templates. - Led a major supply chain strategy redesign effort at McDonald’s. This executive level initiative assessed competitive trends and provided a global vision for the company’s future supply chain integration model along with a ”MCD 2010 playbook” of key steps to achieve the vision.
- Served as an SME on an executive team tasked with defining HAVI’s Go-To-Market strategy as it positioned itself as an end-to-end supply chain services provider beyond the McDonald’s eco-system and played an leadership role in defining the thought process and working with AMR Research in exploring and defining the market potential.

- Led an executive team at one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies in building a comprehensive company-wide supply chain performance measurement framework. - Helped a senior client team at one of the world’s largest fabless mobile suppliers define a strategy for a comprehensive supply chain collaboration model with three of its strategic customers on 3 continents. The project involved assessing the existing operational model, devising a strategy, recommending and implementing a new VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) operating model with cross-functional buy-in and participation.
- Led a major supply chain strategy definition for one of Europe’s largest industrial conglomerates. My global team was tasked with assessing current operations and creating a future supply chain vision and model including compiling and documenting appropriate best practices and devising a novel supply chain vision that is customer centric with a new market segmentation and emphasizing a cultural shift from focus on manufacturing to customer fulfillment. - Helped design and deliver a major supply chain transformation initiative at the world’s largest oil and gas valves manufacturer. Led the supplier management track that helped the client reinvent its sourcing organization by delivering a new decision framework (sourcing network redesign through supplier profiling, spend analysis, product categories definition and lead time reduction).

- At one of the US LargestWireless Carriers, led the design and implementation of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process through a deep process assessment, process and system re-design and the definition and implementation of a comprehensive KPI model. - Served as SME and Track Lead in helping the World’s largest snack food maker in defining and impelemnting a new strategic vision for the tactical planning of a large supply chain footprint (40 plants & 200 DCs) - Helped enable the world’s first High Tech e-marketplace (ehitex) by assisting in software selection to power the platform and mapping key buyer/supplier relationships. Delivered critical training pre go-live and helped enable the industry’s first ever web-based B2B transaction in August 2000. - Worked with one of Europe’s largest auto suppliers on a strategic supply chain assessment using leading industry benchmarks of its US operations that resulted in a new network model (plants & DCs)
