Where Data Does More. Join the Snowflake team.
This is a unique opportunity to join the growing Product Legal team at Snowflake. This role will focus on cutting edge legal issues including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), partnering with a variety of teams across Snowflake to build, launch and enhance a wide range of offerings to support the company’s go-to-market strategies and compliance efforts. It is based in Menlo Park, California with a hybrid in-office requirement
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with product and engineering teams to advise on legal and regulatory requirements for existing and new offerings.
Be (or become) an expert in AI/ML legal issues and how they impact our business.
Develop and operationalize procedures to facilitate responsible product and feature development and deployment.
Engage cross-functionally within the legal department and the broader organization on privacy, security, compliance, intellectual property, and other matters.
Partner with commercial legal as a subject matter expert in customer negotiations.
Support continuous improvements of forms, policies, and processes to build scalable solutions and streamline the provision of legal support.
Provide sound, practical advice and guidance on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders.
REQUIREMENTS:
JD from an accredited law school, membership in at least one state bar, and ability to practice in California
At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred
Technically savvy with ability to quickly learn and support new paradigms
Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms
Attitude of issue ownership and that no project is too big or too small
Comfort working in an extremely fast-paced environment
