About the role
Description
Team Description:
The curation team members are the tour guides of Reddit. Welcoming new users and helping them discover where they belong and in the process supporting the growth of smaller unknown communities. As a member of this team, you will help improve Reddit’s content understanding and make a big impact on content experiences across all of Reddit.
Role Description:
Based in Australia or Singapore and focusing on Thailand, you will map Reddit by contextualizing and identifying relationships between subreddits and posts based on culture, trends, audience, genre and/or theme. You will create categories and label subreddits and posts to improve Reddit’s content understanding, resulting in better ML recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with APAC content lead, GM and community lead to implement the content strategy.
- Drive Reddit’s understanding of different communities, content and audiences in the region, specifically Thailand.
- Understand policy and labeling guidelines and execute accurate labels based on those guidelines.
- Content labeling (maintaining the accuracy and coverage of our community topics and ratings).
- QA of Machine Learning results and creation of data-sets for Machine Learning training.
Identifying common patterns in datasets and document insights based on labeling observations.

Other requirements
- Native language proficiency and cultural knowledge of Thailand
- Comfort working in both English and Thai (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Experience with investigating, reviewing, or assessing digital content.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for Reddit, internet culture and online trends.
- Strong understanding of News, sports, cinema, business and cultural events
