.Role Overview :
The role is will serve as the primary analytical partner supporting the development and execution of global pricing strategies. Working closely with the Senior Global Manager of Strategic Pricing, this role translates high-level strategy into actionable analytical insights, sophisticated financial models, and operational processes that empower commercial teams globally.
The role combines strong technical analytical capability with business acumen, focusing on pricing analytics, modeling, and the operational execution of global pricing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Analytics & Advanced Modeling
Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate pricing scenarios, elasticity, and EBITDA impact.
Analyze price realization, margin performance, and discount leakage to identify revenue recovery opportunities.
Support the development of data-driven pricing insights across various customer segments.
Build and own automated dashboards and reporting tools to monitor global pricing health and performance.
Pricing Strategy Execution & Support
Support the implementation of pricing frameworks and methodologies defined by the global pricing leadership.
Translate strategic initiatives into operational tools, calculators, and guidance models for commercial teams.
Provide analytical support for new product launches, including packaging and positioning recommendations.
Identify pricing improvement opportunities through proactive data mining and trend analysis.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Monitor global market trends and synthesize competitor pricing movements into actionable reports.
Conduct win/loss analysis and price sensitivity studies to refine regional tactics.
Provide data-backed insights to support the ongoing evolution of the global pricing strategy.
Pricing Governance & Operational Excellence
Support the development and maintenance of pricing guidelines and global approval workflows.
Assist in the optimization of pricing tools, reporting systems, and BI dashboards.
Ensure pricing data integrity and alignment with established global company policies
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner with Sales, Finance, and Product teams to provide the "analytical why" behind pricing recommendations.
Support complex commercial negotiations with real-time data-driven analysis and logic.
Help train regional stakeholders on the use of pricing tools, models, and analytics dashboards.

Other requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
10-14 years of experience in pricing, strategy, commercial finance, or advanced analytics.
Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, BI, AI tools)
Experience of working in MNC and should have dealt with global teams
Experience with pricing software or ERP systems is a plus
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
