Hussein Al-Natsheh is an executive-level data scientist and machine learning specialist. He has more than 18 years of experience in technology business innovation. AL-Natsheh currently serves as Chief Technology Officer - Unstructured Data Intelligence at Beyond Limits. Before, he served as the Chief AI Officer at Mawdoo3 Limited since he joined after acqui-hiring of his start-up in late 2016. At Mawdoo3, he co-founded and led the AI team that developed the best Arabic NLP/NLU toolkit (ai.mawdoo3.com) and the Arabic-speaking digital assistant, Salma.ai, which later became a subsidiary of Mawdoo3 that is specialized in providing localized voice assistants for banks and call centers. Al-Natsheh holds a Ph.D. in data mining from the University of Lyon. He has 2 master's degrees; One in data mining and knowledge management from France and Italy in 2015 and another one in computer engineering back to 2007 from Jordan. He made the later master thesis at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland.
In 2009, he founded Ciapple LLC, a company providing data mining web services for on-line businesses like eCommerce and digital media companies. In the first 3 years of Ciapple, AL-NATSHEH had been working on developing the company with a few data mining products and services for several clients in the Middle East. In 2013, he co-managed the company focusing on providing cloud-based data services built on data mining open source technologies.
Previously, he was the director of the Innovation Division (TRIZ-matic) and the Program Manager of the Technology Commercialization Program at the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) in Jordan. AL-NATSHEH has received many business planning and innovation awards and recognitions from national and regional innovation and entrepreneurship support organizations like MENA-OECD Investment program, Ijma3, MedVentures, infoDev, QRCE, JEDCO, ASTF, Mowgli, and SRTD.
