Turning Skills into Action! SureStart Spring 2021 Virtual AI Makeathon
Please join us for the final round of SureStart's Spring 2021 VAIL Makeathon Presentations!
SureStart is an AI Bootcamp that is focused on diversifying the AI talent pipeline. This Makeathon is a judged competition that is open to the public to watch.
In this Makeathon, students will use machine learning skills and Affective Computing approaches to solve real-world problems using an entrepreneurial process.
3:00 - 4:15PM: Final Makeathon Presentations The final four teams will have the opportunity to present to a panel of external judges. Each team will present for 15 minutes, followed by a 5 minute Q&A.
4:15 - 4:45PM: External Judge Deliberation & Intern Panel Our panel of judges will deliberate in a breakout room, and decide on 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. While the deliberation is taking place, Taniya will invite a panel of past interns and mentors to speak about their experiences and the impact these experience have had on their careers.
4:45 - 5:00PM: Winning Announcement and Closing Taniya to announce the winners!
