Tony Tarazi is the Vice President of Design @ The Durst Organization, a real estate developer based in New York City. In this role, Tony oversees the design and execution of major projects in the portfolio. He combines years of experience in the design and construction worlds with a keen understanding of the final deliverable and the implications of owning and operating buildings for the long term. Previously, Tony worked for the executive architectural firm Adamson Associates. He has an extensive background in high-rise buildings, including both commercial and residential. His most notable projects are 200 West Street with Pei Cobb Freed, One Bryant Park with CookFox, 3 World Trade Center with Richard Rogers, One World Trade Center with SOM, VIA West 57 with BIG, and 855 Avenue of the Americas with CookFox. He is currently working on a residential tower in Long Island City with Handel Architects.
