I inspect painting jobs done on residential buildings being constructed, give coaching and constructive feedback to employees to ensure that the colors are clear and bright as planned. I also ensure the supply of building maintenance materials such as paints, lights, torches, and batteries.

I had the full responsibility of managing the inventories of the raw, pack, reject materials, and finished goods. Re-order level, supply lead time to the production line, and forklift maintenance were also part of my KPIs.

Building on my various SAP role experiences at Procter and Gamble Nigeria, I was part of the team that implemented SAP PP1 for Beiersdorf Nigeria team. I took part in an intensive four weeks of classroom, hands-on training in Germany and India during this project and the project was completed within 5 months. I have intensive hands-on knowledge and troubleshooting skills while handling the daily transaction from the warehouse SAP operations from end to end.

I had the full responsibility of the complete warehouse operations, including inventory record accuracy, material offloading, material storage into different physical locations, finished goods shipment to distributors and as well as goods receipt into the Enterprise Resource Program (SAP), material posting, reconciliation, loss elimination and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) development, review, deployment, and implementation for all the Warehouse Processes currently in place at Beiersdorf Nivea Nigeria.

I also managed a team of seven employees, both direct and contract employees. I daily applied my knowledge and experience I have gathered in my previous role as Warehouse Technician in Procter and Gamble to support the Beiersdorf Nigeria operation.

Additionally, I worked hand-in-hand with the Logistics Executive to track incoming deliveries both from local and international suppliers into the Nigerian Plant, so losses for demurrage is eliminated completely. I ensured there is adequate space for the delivery, created and managed a near-perfect system for our Truck Management Process for smooth delivery of finished goods from our finished goods storage areas to the distribution centers while delivering expectations beyond target on finished goods service level delivery month-on-month.

I managed inventory of both finished, raw, and pack materials for two departments simultaneously. I was responsible for the quality and quality of the materials. I also acted as a steward of the company who was responsible for the materials which are expensive and the company’s assets there. I maintained an Internal Record Accuracy of 100% and Assets Record Accuracy of 100% consecutively for the three months of my leadership.

As the Material Utilisation Analyst in Personal Health-care department, I coordinated the staging, usage, reconciliation and loss analyses on all component materials from raw state to finished product state. I used SAP, a business application in identifying and analyzing losses in the materials and fix them to the root cause. This problem solving skill has helped in improving the material utilization of Sugar and Glucose from 94.33% to a consistent 98.50% monthon-month.
