A professional with expertise in architecture who has earned a Ph.D. from the Universita di Pavia. She holds two masters in Building Information Modeling (BIM): an M. Sc. in Digital Architecture from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Level II professional Master from the Politecnico di Milano. Since 2014, Ms. Ben Lashihar became interested in Historic Building Information Modeling (HBIM), which made her Ph.D. studies concentrate on the HBIM modeling process of historic masonry structures. Furthermore, Ms. Ben Lashihar has worked in the architectural industry for over 17 years and has six years of teaching experience in different universities.
