Earthworks: Participated in haul road maintenance and dust suppression activities; observed dumpsite operations and fleet management practices, gaining a clear view of the interface between earthworks and overall production.
Health & Safety: Completed a comprehensive site induction on FQM's safety management system, hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency response protocols — building a strong grounding in the safety culture critical to mining operations.
Loading & Hauling: Monitored loading operations and fleet management systems, analyzing truck cycle times and shovel productivity to identify bottlenecks.
