I am actively pursuing a career transition to Data Science within the tech industry. With a degree in Biological Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, I have worked at Famous Brands as a Quality Control Technician, addressing floor-level quality issues and contributing to administrative tasks. While analyzing trending data related to QA responsibilities, my interest in Data Science was sparked. This led me to undertake a Data Science short course at UCT and a Data analytics course at ALX Africa. I am now enrolled at World Quant University doing applied data science which is more project based and will hence give me real world experience and allow me to put my data analysis skills in to practice. Driven by a growth mindset and proactive problem-solving attitude, I possess a track record of delivering impactful results. In my previous role as a QC Technician, I proactively identified and resolved product discrepancies, ensuring adherence to specifications and minimizing the risk of customer complaints.
