Perform audit procedures, such as obtaining an understanding of processes, testing controls, performing substantive procedures and reviewing of vouchers.
Identify internal control lapses within the financial reporting system and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
Prepare, analyze, and verify annual reports, financial statements, and other records, using accepted accounting procedures and standards to assess financial condition and facilitate financial planning.
Examine and evaluate financial, internal and quality control systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
Create deliverables such as compiled audited financial statements, client communications, reports and other pertinent documents that detail the engagement procedures performed.
Create financial models used in strategic planning to test various scenarios, calculate the cost of new projects, decide on budgets, and allocate corporate resources.
