This role will be part of our newly formed AI team, where we are setting out to build Agentic Finance as we prepare for a post-SaaS world and move up the value chain from delivering not just finance infrastructure and tooling, but finance work.

The Role

We're hiring our Founding Product Designer to help invent the next generation of financial software: AI-native, autonomous, and radically user-centric. You’ll partner closely with engineering and product leadership to go from zero to one: from strategic concepts and interaction design to high-fidelity execution.

As our first designer, you’ll shape not just the product, but the design culture, principles, and direction of Agentic Finance.

  Location Requirement

  This role is in-person in San Francisco (3 days per week). We believe that working shoulder-to-shoulder in the same space is essential for the speed, creativity, and trust-building required at this early stage.

• Minimum 6 years as a UX/Product designer with expertise in desktop web, mobile web, and native app experiences.
• Experience designing for AI-native or workflow automation products.
• Background in fintech, finance operations, or tools for startups is nice to have.
• Ability to build products from scratch and thrive in ambiguity.
• Proficiency in independently owning end-to-end design work from early concepts through to polished UI and developer handoff.
• Technical mindset with the ability to work with AI, automation, or complex systems, understanding both capabilities and limitations.
• Deep collaboration skills, working side by side with engineers and product leads.
• Customer obsession with the ability to design for non-expert users and validate ideas with real feedback.
• Startup-ready, comfortable with moving fast, wearing many hats, and making trade-offs.
