 Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineer on this project, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of mechanical works. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing and supervising the installation of mechanical equipment, including piping systems, pressure vessels, compressors, and gas handling systems
• Ensuring all mechanical installations comply with relevant engineering codes, industry standards, and project specifications
• Monitoring contractor performance, quality of workmanship, and adherence to project schedules
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, and instrumentation engineers, as well as external contractors and vendors
• Conducting inspections, reviewing technical documentation, and resolving on-site engineering issues
• Supporting pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities to ensure systems are fully operational and meet design intent
• Promoting and enforcing strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all site activities

 Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in gas, petrochemical, energy, or similar heavy industrial environments
• Proven experience in mechanical installation and construction within industrial plant projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including piping design, rotating equipment, and pressure systems
• Experience working within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project environments
• Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO)
• Demonstrated experience working with hazardous, flammable, or high-pressure gas systems
