Twice a semester I conducted charitable events (give back) to benefit the visually impaired students in Katanga. During these activities, we constructed a fence for their school, significantly decreased the risk of theft, by as much as 98%
Coordinated community outreach events in Katanga, an underserved area, engaged with teenage girls, provided education on reproductive health and breast cancer awareness, and offered complimentary HIV testing.
