Spearheaded the creation of a firmwide group budget and measured quarterly for cost analysis and accurate financial planning vis a vis the approved group budget for the period. Engaged subsidiary business team to identify problem areas and prepare business diagnosis report critical for business restructuring by high-level management. Initiated and implemented training to entrench top-of-mind-awareness and alignment to company objectives as well as improve identified skills gap for the 7-man business team. Designed and monitored strategy roadmap for new subsidiary business to entrench product penetration for wider coverage.

Conducted primary market research, analyzed competitors’ efforts, performed internal benchmarking, and built consensus within the commercial team for Fintech and Renewable Energy projects with project sizes of NI.5B each as project lead. Created and presented financial models and marketing budget for specific tactics, cost, return on investment, and success metrics to the Managing Director and facilitated the incorporation of the strategy into identified Commercial Best Practices. Managed project team to deliver the soft launch of online deal management platform after one-week sprint process. Designed regulatory framework measurement matrix across all projects to enforce risk management across all projects and drive compliance.

Engaged with the board of directors from the sell-side in all parties’ meetings following due diligence findings on the Development Finance Institution as part of the acquisition bid process which exposed N70M account with diverted funds. Organized project team for the Development Finance Institution acquisition bid (~N18B) across due diligence focus areas for thorough delivery which significantly contributed to a successful acquisition process and increased company earnings by 20%. Initiated an exhaustive due diligence framework and approach that ensured a successful due diligence visit to the commercial bank in Liberia which was then replicated for a similar Sierra Leone project both worth US$40M. Facilitated physical due diligence visit in Liberia with the Bank’s directors to identify and corroborate inconsistencies identified during the virtual due diligence process. Accomplished data room information management and control during potential investors’ virtual due diligence for an N18M carpark project in Lagos State. Aided company representation at renewable energy industry fora and facilitated market research and framework for a N1.5B renewable energy business project across potential investors, transaction parties, teaser and information memorandum preparation, budget, etc. Facilitated market research and framework for a N1B women fund project across potential investors, transaction parties, teaser and information memorandum preparation, budget, etc. Implemented Project Management Office (PMO) for assigned projects to create relevant templates/deliver according to time, quality, and cost constraints which improved turn-around time by 48 hours. Initiated and coordinated project strategy meetings for team members to create inclusive and well-mapped out deliverables.

Engaged in research analysis for a varied sector range which influenced company decisions for the development of subsidiary businesses. Ensured appropriate representation of the company in industry fora/conferences on behalf of Executive Management and obtained contacts of 20 industry leaders’ post-event as part of the company’s potential investors’ pool. Managed and maintained the Managing Director’s itinerary as part of my Executive Assistant functions.
