**About Manuel Piñuela:**

Dr Manuel Piñuela is a nature advocate, technology and science entrepreneur, and **MIT Technology Review Innovator of the Year under 35**.

He is Co-founder of Cultivo, Drayson Tech. and SENS.L. Experienced in private equity, venture investment, IPOs, M&A and technology commercialisation.

Manuel believes that the climate crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our times and creating Cultivo allows him to contribute to one of the many solutions that are needed. He wants to ensure future generations benefit from nature and works tirelessly to contribute to meet the Paris Agreement goals.

 **About Elaine Smith Genser:**

Elaine works at the **United Nations Joint SDG Fund **on engagement and partnerships development. 

Before working in the social sector in 2011, she worked for 20 years as a trader and research sales manager at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JP Morgan. In 2013 she was elected Young Global Leader (YGL) of the World Economic Forum. 

She holds a BBA from Univ. Mackenzie, an MBA from Univ. Sao Paulo-FIA, and is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management Program (OPM). She completed executive programs in leadership at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Gov't, Yale School of Mgm't, Stanford and Saïd Business School at Oxford University.

Elaine was the Manager of the Global Future Council of Financial and Monetary Systems and was Community Lead for Banking and Capital Markets at the World Economic Forum from 2015-2018. Then, she worked two years at the World Bank Group in the Global Engagement & Partnerships, advising on the development and implementation of strategy and contributing to the thinking and formulation of financial vehicles for corporate partnerships and philanthropy. 

She also consulted with the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi) on efforts to highlight the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Women Owned Business. She is a board member of Anglo American Foundation and part of the Finance and Investment Sub-committee

 **About Dena Montague:**

Dena Montague is a Lecturer at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara. 

She is the Founder and Executive Director of ÉnergieRich, an international social enterprise establishing local manufacturing of clean energy technology in Ghana. Her research focuses on energy justice through decentralized production; impacts of Global North clean energy transition on climate/environmental justice in the Global South; and environmental data justice. Dena earned a PhD in Political Science from UCLA and a BA from Brown University.
