Mateo Fowler is a trained Digital Media Artist with over a decade of experience in Sales & Marketing. He has worked in the areas of Web Design, Advertising & Public Relations. Mateo received his bachelor's degree from California State University, East Bay in June of 2009 in Art focusing on Graphic Design and Multimedia. Mateo Fowler was an Independent Representative doing customer sales and outside marketing for five years with Vartec Telecom/ Excel Communications. He reached the level of Executive Director and was a Training Director for other marketing representatives. Mateo then went to startup an Outside Sales business working with Stores Online. He had three websites through his company, Fowler Enterprises, which he sold this business in early 2012.

In the Summer of 2012, he went to work with Sarah Austin at Pop17. He started working during the taping of the Bravo series Startup: Silicon Valley. He got the chance to use the video and blogging knowledge he learned at school. He also learned social media marketing from Sarah Austin. In January of 2013, Mateo Fowler launched his own tech-focused blog Mateo’s Tech Travels, which focuses on the international Technology, Business, and Startup scene. In 2013 Mateo began working as an Evangelist for the Developers Alliance. Handling events, content, and social media.

In August of 2016, Mateo Fowler began working as Brand Ambassador at The Vault. At The Vault, Mateo nurtured a worldwide community of partners through events, content, newsletter, and other touchpoints. Created meaningful interactions with community members. Publicized campaigns for The Vault to raise awareness and drive high levels of attention and participation by a targeted audience. Engaged with venture capital firms, investors, accelerators, and startups to spend knowledge that The Vault is a full-stack ecosystem for the intersection of corporate innovation and startup acceleration. Startups, scaleups, investors, corporations, service providers, and advisors need each other for growth.
