Using machine learning techniques and satellite imagery to detect the electricity grid infrastructure and determine the optimal placement for charging stations for electric vehicles. The objective of this research internship is to understand the behavior of interatomic exchange interactions on a microscopic level for transition metal trihalides MX3 (M=Cr and X=Cl, I). To achieve this goal, we performed Density Functional Theory electronic structure calculations, generated Wannier functions and constructed effective models based on these calculations to describe the magnetic properties of these materials.

Investigation of the magnetic properties of two-dimensional metal phosphorous trichalcogenides with the hexagonal lattice MPX3 (M=V-Cr and X=S, Se, Te) using Density Functional Theory electronic structure calculations and realistic models underpinned by these calculations. Construction of effective models based on Wannier functions for these compounds to describe their magnetic properties.
